I'm flying out to SA in June. Does anyone know if there is an official taxi service for getting from Airport to hotel and hotel to game?

I have heard too many horror stories!

Can anyone suggest a cost effective way to get to the 2010 Fan Camp in Kruger?

We will be in Johannesburg and the weekly safaris start on each Sunday during World Cup.

We haven't found much info on how to travel to 2010 Camp other than fling in to the nearest airport which is called East Gate or Hoedspruit. The cost of flying is very expensive.

We don't have tickets yet and are still very flexible with our dates. All we know is that we will be in SA.

Internal flights are hassle free, reliable, quick and relatively cheap. Internal flight operators (budget) include the following:

Kulula airlines
One Time airlines (I have flown with them more than one time actually)
Mango airlines
South African Airways (still has some cheap flights - GBP50 one way to main cities)
British Airways (expensive)
Air Namibia

Just go to www.google.co.za and search for the specific airlines online booking website.

Also think about car hire, Bloemfontein, Rustenburg, Polokwane, Nelspruit and Durban are all within easy driving distance of Johannesburg on excellent roads.

The train network is not reliable nor particularly safe!
