What is the biggest/cheapest britisch and australian internet(broadband) provider?

Tiscali are pretty good in the UK, packages start from £14.99 per month. Think i pay £17.99 for 2Mb broadband which also gives free local calls at weekend

telstra are shite!
telstra count your uploads towards your 10g limit.

total rip off.

if your after cable, the only other option you have is optus.

for a bundled price of 49.95 you get 7g peak and 14g off peak (midnight - midday).

bundled means when you have a cable internet and a telephone / mobile under you name. if you dont bundle its $10 more expensive and you dont get the offpeak data

if your after adsl...well there are so many to choose from that you need to decide what to get.....

those would have to be the main ones.

I never understood the fuss about uploads, I surf the net not make it ...

I am happy enough, but as you have pointed out there are other solutions ....

ps My work pays for the connection anyway so cost is not an issue, reliability is though and I have never had a minute without a connection over 9 months so that will do me....
