My plan is to take it easy, stopping overnight in France.Has anyone any thoughts on this regarding costs,tolls etc.I don't mind driving long distances but my wife would need to have a... ... Any help,advice or tips would be most welcome. ....

I'm sorry to say that I don't know how much time it will take Calais to the site. First of all its depend on which vehicle you are driving. Last year I travelled from Calais to France and the route was approximately 700km and I took 14 hours by my car. I googled all the routes and I got everything there, You can also search on google and if I get anything ill get you.

Hello,

It takes 8-hour approximately by road from Calais to Germany. Time will be depending on your driving. So it's not an accurate time. If you drive continuously timing will be short.
